Opening reception at the Audimax

Welcome drinks for participants of the Symposium will be served in the foyer of the auditorium maximum (audimax) on the university campus
Excursion to the “Wiesn” (Oktoberfest) in Munich
Thursday, 23 September 2004, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Come to Munich and experience the “Wiesn”, the largest public festival of the world. We succeeded in a highly competitive bid to get a reservation in the most famous “Hacker Beer Tent”. Seats in the tent are limited and can be provided on a first come-first served basis only.
Enjoy strolling around the fair grounds or sitting in the tent and taste the Bavarian beer and typical Bavarian food (a voucher for meal and drink is included)

Symposium Banquet at the Palace of Thurn and Taxis
Friday, 24 September 2004, 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
A banquet will be held on Friday at the prince of Thurn and Taxis palace in the centre of Regensburg. Dinner in the historic “Marstall” will consist of a buffet presenting international specialities as well as local delicacies.
